this is very good work, I love these types of matte paintings, i would have liked to of seen some light reflections on the buildings on the left, and there is something with the depth that is wrong, I can't place it, but for some reason it's difficult to tell how big the structures are. But its still amazing work. +7/8

great sky. the details are too uniform though, there is no focal point detail-wise which is very important in matte painting. Also the details are somewhat crowded, unclear and make the image hard to read. For example on the left I can't understand what's there, other than a lot of bright lights.. so if this was to be in a film or something, you'd have to fix it - matte paintings are seen for a second or two only and they have to be seen and understood properly in that time as well. So you have to make sure it reads easily.

You could correct this one by saving a merged copy to another document, make a duplicate and then with lasso select unimportant areas and with curves or something tone the areas brightness and saturation down a bit. Make sure nothing competes with the towers in contrast. Also I would make the main structure a bit more dramatic and make it's shadow side go really dark.

It's a nice start though, you have enough details to sell it - now just finish it so it reads better.

it looks really nice but I would like to see a better full version because I think there's some photo manipulatio in some places. also I think theres too many details and as someone said already is hard to read the painting. anyway cool work
